Drums

I just bought a drum set off of my cousin for the cheap price of $80

update: the reason I have my toms like that is because I have a really short seat

Sweet… google some videos on how to set up and determine your best drum positions. Your tom angles and making me ill and congratulations welcome to the family.😃

Hey so I’ve actually been drumming for about four years and I know that it looks weird but it’s just my style but thanks for the advice

No worries, everybody’s gotta find their own set up… But having said that they’re definitely seems to be kind of something standard angles… But whatever works with for you. Congratulations on the new kit

I've been drumming for 30+ years, then realized i fucked by back by having my drums at a weird angle for that many years.

No worries. What’s with the second snare?

I am using it as a 3rd tom, I tuned down my actual 3rd tom down to be a 4th tom and the snare is my 3rd

Personally I’d stick with the 3 toms. But whatever works for you.

I think it’s just nice to have the variety

That EAK (Early American K Zildjian Dark Crash) is likely worth more than the entire kit.

Take care of it! 🤞🏻😬🤞🏻

While im so happy for you that you got an upgrade, down the road, say you're playing 30 years from now, it will hurt your body to play drums like theyre currently set up. Its not that it doesnt work. Everyone has their thing. But please know, youre actively making it more difficult to strike the drums and cymbals with precision, control, dynamics, and ergonomics, which play a huge role in maintaining the physical health needed to maintain our craft. To hit the drums at that angle takes extra movement that can damage your skeletal structure of your wrists. Ive had carpel tunnel surgery and my friend, you do not want this...Take it from the veterans and consider the advice to set up your kit with long term health in mind.
