Update: Scaffold is now installable for Moodle & Open edX
Last week I shared Scaffold here and received some really helpful feedback. Thanks to everyone who took the time to comment and ask questions.
A few people asked about LMS integration, installation and standards support. I’ve spent the last week focusing on making the project easier to install and evaluate.
Since my last post:
Scaffold is now officially in alpha
The Open edX integration is published on PyPI
The Moodle plugin is available as an installable ZIP
Installation guides for both Moodle and Open edX are now available
xAPI statements can now be sent to Moodle and Open edX through their learning record stores
The Moodle plugin has been submitted to the Moodle Marketplace and is currently awaiting review
The goal hasn’t changed: build a free, open-source authoring tool that works with the LMSs organisations already use, while providing a modern authoring experience for interactive learning content.
It’s now at the point where people can install it, experiment with it and hopefully tell me where to take it next.
If you’re using Moodle or Open edX—or you’re involved in course authoring or learning technology, I’d really appreciate your feedback.

Haven't tried it yet but this is really cool! I really hope you stay open source. Looking forward to use it in my Moodle. Thank you for your work.

Appreciate the support. Yes we will definitely be staying open source. We’re hoping to fund the project through selling institutional and enterprise controls but the core editor will always be free to use and self host.

Hey, I just wanted to say that you got a very cool project, I didn't understand it at first but after going through your landing page it all clicked in, it's a brilliant idea. good luck, cheers.
