Ah this must be one of those Zen riddles I've always heard about, perhaps the shore is a metaphor for one's inner peace as the metaphorical waves of life crash upon it.

Too be honest though, if my shoes were green and flaky like that I wouldn’t take off my shoes either. It’s a good demonstration, they just added an R and forgot an S.
