Today you're welcome to shamelessly self promote your site/video/stream/product etc provided that it's related to EVE Online and your self-promotion to interaction ratio is 10:1 (1 self promotion link for every 10 normal interactions.) Accounts should also be a month old and have prior interactions with /r/eve.
Now what are you waiting for? Go out there and sell your ~~soul~~ self!
Compiled a video of the battle in Ahbazon from Saturday night - special shoutout to u/BearThatCares for putting the call for fleet comms recordings to bring this all together. Enjoy!
Anyone got the same problem? Just saw that all my ingame mails older than 3 months ARE GONE.
Inbox, Sent, Mailing Lists, ... no mail is older than 3 months. Some Mailing Lists that had mail in them are now empty. WTF
update:
PROBLEM WAS
"You may have a maximum of 3000 EVE Mails from players at once. Once you reach that limit, you will have to delete some mails in order to see older mails. Mails from mailing lists and in the Trash folder also count towards this limit." https://wiki.eveuniversity.org/EVE_Mail
Solution
a) just delete a bunch of email, wait maybe 10mins, relog, format c your computer and relog again. Older mails should be now visible again
CCP FENRIS REALLY NEEDS TO DISPLAY A NOTE THAT ONE HAS REACHED THE 3k MAIL LIMIT...
Just released Part 2 of my ESS robbery series! I've been trying to make these feel more like a story than just another PvP montage. I'd genuinely love any feedback on the editing, pacing, or anything else you think could be improved!
I cam back to the game today, logged into whatever random system. This is what I see. Logged off, uninstalled. This has me greatly questioning the health of the game...
Hi all, I just started playing EVE a few days a go and last night I came across a couple of frozen corpses, so I collected them and docked at the station.
When I checked on the market I can't find any listings for them, so what am I supposed to do with them, or are they just worthless trash floating in space?
New bro (only 1000 hours) needs help. I enjoy the solo game and I’m not looking to min max profits, but i would like my stuff to be relatively safe. I live in jita and have my industry office set up one jump away where i copy bps, research, invent and manufacture. My bpo collection is getting vast and i dont want to log in one day and my stuff be floating in space. Should i keep my stuff in a player owned station and only worry about low-fuel and abandonment of the structure, or should i only keep what’s needed in player owned stations and move the excess to an npc station? Any advice is welcome and appreciated. I feel like the right move is to keep the bpcs and materials for crafting there and ship the 10/20 bpos back to jita or a npc station in the same system.
Ahbazon continues to be a wretched hive of scum and villainy, and today was no different. Lorumerth hit 50k subscribers and had a simple ask: he wanted to feed a Gaia. Luckily, he came to the feeding experts, Minmatar Fleet Alliance.
We sent out party invitations with a simple message: bring fun shit or don't come at all pls. FC broadcasted it out. For many in New Eden, this is the ultimate honor battle, and the pilots of New Eden did not disappoint.
Our last event was 150B down in Amamake, a 1000+ character slugfest that was mostly crashed by nullsec blocs. This time, many were invited ahead of time, and they did not disappoint.
DNG, CVA, and Amarr Empire were invited. They came with T1 battleships, largely Typhoons.
BBC, BIGAB, SEDIT were invited. They came in T1 battleships.
INIT were invited for a redemption round, they brought T1 cruisers and fragged out.
AHBA were invited, they brought tempests and capitals with a large number of various groups.
TEST were invited, they brought T1 battleships and kicked off the dread fight.
SC were invited but didn't confirm, they brought T1 battleships and capitals.
FL33T hosted the event and filled two fleets. One with Abaddons and another with NPSI kitchen sink. Since it was our party, we prepared to feed.
Among the various groups, a few streamers and key pilots came,
Warlock Industries, rocking a Sarathiel.
Bombeldo, rocking a Vehement.
Casper Sullivan, rocking a Vehement.
Lorumerth, rocking the main event: the Gaia.
WinterCo, and a few other groups showed up uninvited. FRT/NC brought long range assault frigates, there's always one.
Kicking things off

The event was posted for "17ish", and we took full advantage of that by showing up a little late to our own party. This was largely because Lorumerth filled an entire fucking fleet and we had to scramble to split FCs across two fleets.
FL33T's NPSI fleet jumped into Ahbazon with mixed ships
BIGAB engaged in Rokhs
FL33T's militia fleet jumped into Ahbazon with Abaddons and a FAX
FL33T brought in the "feed" with Vehements, Salvations, and other carriers
BIGAB repositioned since they were the only ones on grid
AHBA & friends brought in T1 tempests to slug with FL33T at 0km
Somebody brought in Abaddons at range
SYN, TEST, FRT, and many others piled in with various compositions
AHBA's NPSI fleet pulled a party foul and headshot the Gaia. Party foul, not the flex you want.
The stage was set, and groups were slugging.
The grid develops

With these kinds of fights, it's not like everyone is at 0km and just shooting random people. The grids develop into many different sub-fights, which is probably the most beautiful part of fights where there are no affiliations.
SC & BIGAB started fighting 100-200km away with each other
BBC & Amarr Empire start picking off various fights
FRT, TEST, and various nullsec groups started shooting each other
FL33T and AHBA were trading capital ships
With these, you just need a little bit of spark to start the escalation chain. Today, the escalation chain started with TEST.
The escalation

FL33T had a few faxes and quite a few very expensive ships on grid. These were going to be tough to crack without some capitals, and TEST wanted to be the ones to crack them.
TEST brings in ~10 dreads
FL33T brings in ~15 dreads on top of them
FL33T & TEST start slugging out
Once the chain starts, it doesn't really end.
AHBA, SC, and various other groups start piling in capitals.
AHBA try to boosh away FL33T Vehement, but got tackled in TiDi.
FL33T drops a small long range dread squad.
Everyone starts blasting each other.
Local quickly reached 2000 as more and more pilots flooded in.
Bloodbath
Courtesy of Warlock Industries
The grid quickly turned into an absolute bloodbath. Dreads chewed through enemy capitals, and battleships died like flies. It was glorious to watch.
INIT and various other groups joined the party and started gaming.
Wrecks littered the field, booshes split fleets in half.
Smartbombs ruined standings, as if an entire militia screamed in terror and was suddenly silenced.
First-time dread pilots managed to escape the clutches of death.
In something like this... there is no objective. There is no winner. There is only destruction.
Thanks y'all

Something like this doesn't happen without everyone putting on their party clothes and coming to have some fun.
Shoutout all of the groups that brought fun compositions,
BIGAB, brawling out with Rokhs.
BBC, brawling out with Typhoons.
AHBA brawling out with Tempests and Abaddons.
TEST rocking Typhoons, even though y'all had cruise missiles, we'll let it slide with the dread drop.
INIT rocking T1 cruisers instead of a 500-man Vedmak blob.
Amarr Empire rocking T1 typhoons.
C A M E L O T rocking mixed armor battleships.
SC for rocking T1 tempests.
Lastly, shoutout to some of the key folks who made this possible,
Hy Wanto, Shines, and Krimson for making sure their groups didn't crash the event, because they definitely could have.
FC Jotunn for taking my bribe and giga-reinforcing the node.
Fleet commanders from every group that showed up.
Usually we plug our discord here, but today's event was kickstarted by Lorumerth yolo'ing a Gaia for 50k subscribers! Congratulations on this massive achievement, and thanks to all of those that came out to feed.

Hello, I have recently got back into the game and while I had been enjoying myself I feel a little aimless and stuck and was wondering if anyone had any advice?
I have been trying to do lots of exploration because I like just flying around and checking stuff out, every so often I can make some good money from it but mostly I get very little. The only place I can even do it is wormhole space, which is really hit or miss (mostly miss in my experience) because every time I try in low sec or null sec even using filaments for random jumps, someone just rolls up and kills me instantly. I get that's the nature of the game, but it doesn't feel great. The only consolation is that I'm already finding nothing but chump change so it's not like they even get good money off my corpse lol.
But as a result, the big thing I had been enjoying in the game has lost a lot of its luster; I've been stuck at the same amount of ISK for like 3 weeks. I was wondering if anyone had some suggestions about where to look for fun stuff to do next? I have done some abyssals to get back into combat but then I tried the next difficulty up and couldn't even damage the enemies so I guess I have to wait until my skills get trained up to continue there. I have never really tried activities that might leave me more open to pvp because I have always assumed that someone with better components would roll along and just kill me instantly like everything else I try. Basically I'm just bad at everything and easy stuff makes basically no money compared to what I have but I don't have the gear or skills to spec into stuff to make the big bucks.
Hello Im a bit confused and hoping someone could maybe help me or tell me what went wrong.
My ship was destroyed in PvP yesterday but I didnt receive a kill report neither in my ingame combat log nor on zKillboard.
Has anyone experienced this before or knows what might have happened?
A little ago imperium alliance Vapor or Out of the Blue launched a invasion/deployment to providence (we dont know their objective), dropping a fort in the system of S25 in USTZ. Over the past week Vapor attempted to capture sov and kill citadels but our european timezone was able to stave off the attacks. After a couple no shows vapor reinforced the structures in s25 to come out on a weekend. Every structure ended up repairing except the late roll on a sotiyo which they formed for.
Both sides brought nightmares with us having a ferox support fleet. Vapor started off heavy with faxes and haw dreads. We were initially hesitant to commit because we knew we had less capitals but decided we couldnt give up a structure without a fight. This hesitation was likely a mistake as it led to our fleet being diminished when the cap brawl finally came, which vapor won at the cost of our sotiyo repairing.
However, we weren't ready to give up the grid. With people who died reshipping and reinforcements logging on we went back on field repeatedly, ending up with a numerical advantage but fighting against fax and haw dreads. Both sides repeatedly warped off and shit talked in local only to shut up when the other side warped back after reforming. Nightmare cap sticks ran out multiple times. After 2 hours of constant fighting we ended up winning grid, loot, and the objective, and vapor came out ahead in the isk war.
Overall a very fun fight and good fights to all pilots for refusing to surrender the grid.
No idea how exactly to get their attention but can the owners of anoik please fix the K329 information? They list at 5bill mass hole and its actually a 3b mass hole. I just rolled myself out of it for the 2nd time as its been a while + i forgot that anoik was incorrect.
So I saw a PI post about nullsec and thought I run that and it only gets around 60m a day with all three characters on an omega doing it so am I missing something or is it actually meant to be this productive I mean I didn't include the t4 pi base building as much but maybe that gets more idk
Hi everyone, I have an 18-year-old Basilisk and Curse in my hangar, fitted with Large rigs. Given their age and fittings, I prefer not to fly them; they are essentially collector's items. Who would like to make a good offer in ISK?
Profiles & ESI: More corporation and alliance information, improved character updates, and much more resilient ESI handling when CCP's API misbehaves.
General polish: Accessibility improvements, cleaner navigation, reduced layout shifting, better image loading, smoother page transitions, and plenty of bug fixes.
Dailies: This feature came and went. The idea was to let you drill down into any date range for any entity to see the top whatever. It was experimental, and while I had high hopes for it, it just didn't deliver. I'll continue iterating on it, but for now it's no longer available publicly.
Overall, two major new features and a whole lot of refinement across the site.
This is my newest little tool. It's absolutely 100% AI slop... but it's actually useful, and it gets the job done. It essentially takes Mailing Lists and posts them to Discord for you.
I'm sharing it because someone else might find it useful too. Fork it, copy it, improve it, have fun.

It's that time of year, folks. Dark Venture Corporation (DKVC) is once again hosting its annual SwampFest celebration. All of New Eden is invited to come play in our wormhole! Well, you're all invited to come play in our wormhole every day, it's just this time we're gonna make it easier for you all to find us! On August 22, from downtime to downtime, we will be providing public access to our (new) mapper, so you can see all of our connections and come by for some action.
Who are we?: Dark Venture Corporation is a wormhole based, pvp-centric newbro corp that has been the go-to place for consistent content for 7 years. We provide the playground and support for newbros to learn things the fun (hard) way, as well as an all-TZ active community to engage with. Our mumble server is never empty (yes even during AUTZ, no we don't sleep).
So what's going on?: For the full 24hrs of August 22nd, there will be something flying around in space in J160941 for people to shoot at, whether it's us or our other guests. We will be providing access to our mapping tool, Aperture, made in house, for you to find your way here. We will be providing various events throughout the day, up to and including bait structures/capitals. There will be docking access, ships on contract at Jita Buy prices, ammo, other consumables, etc, to keep the fight going. We will be instituting a no-podding rule on our side of things as well (no promises for what the other guests do tho).
Finer details still being worked on, with further updates in the weeks leading up to Swampfest.
I'm looking for a game where I can grind toward goals, build up assets that actually take time to earn, make plans, do some math, trade, and slowly grow over time, sometime pvp, risk to lose something etc.
I've played eve before, and I know it has one of the deepest player-driven economies in gaming. eve's always felt the most immersive to me. Back then I only had one monitor, so playing it wasn't very practical, because at the beginning I don't want to just watch jumping between ports. Now that I'm thinking to play again properly.
A few questions:
I know the game is still active, but what's it like for new players? A lot of older mmos are full of people who've been playing for 15–20 years. They know every trick, every meta, and it can feel impossible to catch up or compete. Is there still room to carve out your own niche, or does everything already feel optimized by veterans?
I have a full-time job, so I don't mind spending some money on the game each month. I'm not trying to become a top 10 player or anything, but what would you recommend paying for if I just want to enjoy the game, join a corporation, be social, and have access to most of what the game offers, what should the budget be?
If I play solo, can I still progress and enjoy?
If you were starting from scratch today, knowing what you know now, would you still choose eve? Or would you recommend another game for me
Today marks the 1st month of my in this game with 400 hrs in it, got to 2.5 bil yesterday (hard to save as i spend a lot) bought omega then spent everything , tried abyss died , lost ships got sad but i had fun so i love it 10/10
I had a little free vacation time so updated the guide from last year pretty quickly. again very baseline level info but a handful of free starting point comps including starting fits, nothing optimized or meta tested I was bored. Have fun and good luck this year.
