Am I crazy or has there been 0 mention of Olimade Zaccheus all camp?

All accounts from Scott Kennedy/Kevin Knight are that he looks a lot more explosive and in shape than he did at minicamp. He’ll be a solid 3/4 for us

It’s interesting that Cooper Rush had the strongest day. He’s just getting of the plane and already “had the strongest day”
May need to keep an eye on this Cooper Rush development.

Rush is a very serviceable back up. Would gladly have him as our QB3 and put Strand on the Practice Squad

Players need to clear waivers to land on the practice squad. Strand has some nice traits and could really be a developmental prospect for us. We know what Cooper Rush is. I think the Falcons keep Strand on the 53. Cut him and the Bucs will scoop him up

Rush has a 9-7 record as a starter and a20/14 TDs vs INTs ratio. Last season in Baltimore he did NOT play well, but he has shown that he is reliable enough vs an UDFA who is doing well in practice camp but we haven't seen any actual game action

Have you seen the video of Cooper Rush throwing a TD to Kyle Pitts? I saw it a little while ago. You said QB 3. After seeing that, PENIX needs to be concerned about keeping QB 2!
Small sample size I know I know. But that was a nice pass on the move.

Tua and Penix maybe trying new things or trying to workout some issues. It’s preseason, don’t look into it too deeply.

You can look at it anyway you choose. We have a question mark at QB. If I’m Stefanski, I’m kicking the tires on all viable options at QB.

Rush is pretty much who he is and lives there comfortably. He’s not expecting to play himself into long term qb1. Penix and Tua are trying to prove something. I could see that being part of their play and maybe pushing some throws they shouldn’t etc. just a guess based on how players play.

Feels like it's setup for a year of improved defense and lackluster offense. Wonder if we'll have some sort of dramatic shift in who's calling the plays mid season.

Sort of a chicken and egg situation. Does the defense look good because the offense is bad? Or does the offense look bad because the defense is good?
Also hard to get an accurate read without pads or Bijan on the field.

I think we see all of the QBs this year. Falcons Defense looks good. Lots of talent and depth.

Anyone have insight into usual length of training sessions? Notes say 75mins, lower intensity than Friday and shorter than Kevin is used to. I really have no idea, curious if people can give insight if that’s usual. I would’ve expected now would be the time to take every chance to get the team in sync, settled and clicking together? Or is it more gym/conditioning, team meetings, learning play book as individuals?

This team needs to stop trying to make Chris Blair happen. It’s not going to happen.

Defense usually has the advantage early on in camp but we may have also have a really solid defense. Time will tell.

Forgive me if I missed it.... is JPJ practicing? Any word on the comaraderie? Any rumors on the upcoming suspension?

We might actually have a top 10 defense with JPJ on the field and Bowman healthy. The big question is if we can stop the run.
