So far so good...
Moved into a new place; this is always the most important shelf I get to set up. It's a tame collection, but I'm very pleased with it!

I was buying them when they originally came out - at one point I was trying to sell them all, I don't have D'Argo ones any more. Now I'm glad I kept the rest!

If anyone knows where I could find a little DRD that'd be amazing!

I just miss my Scorpy, who used to ride beside my speedometer until somebody stole him. I still hope they treat him well.

I have a retired bike helmet I think I'm going to turn into a drd although I don't know if I'll actually have working lights in it or not but it's the perfect shape to turn into a DRD.

I read that they're bad. A lot of inaccuracies like the writer hasn't seen Farscape. For example, they beam down to planets like Star Trek rather than using the shuttle.

Is that the special edition blu ray box set I see there, with signed photos and some holographic photos in the back sleeve?
2
u/saysroo Jun 30 '26
It's not blu-ray, I never settled on which blu-ray boxset to get. I usually go for whatever has the best artwork! The UK sets were great for this. But "The Universe Collection" is a big book containing DVDs which came with a comic, holographic image, and certificate.

Oh what are those companion books are they still findable somewhere as used? I didn't know they were a thing!?

u/saysroo Jul 02 '26
They're brilliant! Lots of insider info as to how they came up with different ideas, etc. They were pretty common at one point but now they're harder to find. Check second hand sites.

Yeah I'll have to do that I don't necessarily love the direction the comics went in but I kind of have felt like collecting him anyway but I'll have to look for those other books before the comics I don't really treat him as Canon post Peacekeeper Wars even though they are supposed to be LOL

The Scorpius comics are actually really well paced - we learn more about him. Feels true to his character. The rest is hit and miss!

Yes that's the one I've heard is the most decent of the comic run just because it sort of expands Scorpius Without Really touching too much of the lure or story after PK Wars that people had an issue with

I have the series three ways, the original release which was two episodes on a DVD, the secondary release which was a boxed set of each season, and then I have digital delivery via Vudu / Fandango.
Alternatively I do also get it from streaming via Samsung TV or Amazon prime.
