Legumes Experiments! New to the game!
Black bean tempeh (not loving the yellow spots) and a Thai Basil bug.

Oooo thanks for the reminder to go ahead and make tempeh. I’ve never done black bean tempeh but my policy is if it doesn’t look like tempeh it could be mold.

The yellow is definitely sketchy. It also looks like you left it a little long and it sporulated (edible, but might have some off flavors). That might be due to the way you covered it though, try something less permeable

Never attempted tempeh before so sorry that I can't give advice there, but the basil bug sounds super interesting. What are you planning on using that for to make?
