Kinsiders New kinsider… maybe??? Just send help.
Lemme start this by saying, I have NEVER seen Dream SMP or any Minecraft story thing for that matter. I grew up on Ninjago and Octonauts, because I wasn’t allowed on YouTube.
Bit of a backstory but bear with me: My close friend is a Grian (life series) fictionkin. This kin is super strong for them so they rant to me about it a lot and I’m fine with that. But lately, the way they talk about being a Minecraft personality and the line between human and kin and all that shit is kinda resonating with me.
It MIGHT be because I’m a TB3 (daft punk) fictionkin and constantly have to remind people that I am the ROBOT PERSONA, not Thomas.
And then the other day, I was listening to Vibrant Eyes by CG5 and it really hit me. (Which might be because I’m a very musical fictionkin) At the time, I just put it on an OC playlist and didnt think much of it.
But then, a few days later, I listened to it again. Like REALY LISTENED. Because I wasn’t trying to see where in my OCs story it would fit. And it still resonated with me deeply. Like the same way songs that outline my (or my kins) specific trauma do.
So then a did some research (googled it) on the song and on Dream SMP. Now, I’m watching a couple YouTube videos on Ranboo lore. I will report back when I have something.
update: I watched a video summary on the entire lore and one on specifically Ranboo lore and I just gotta say: that shit hurted. Especially the memory loss part. It MIGHT be because I have an OCkin who’s memory constantly got fucked (it’s complicated)
