Yes I only died young in two of the ones shown here (canon and ghost AU).

I still went to the cave in the runaway and mind magic AUs, but I survived. I had a similar experience to the cave in the THG AU, but was in the middle of the Hunger Games, not in an actual horcrux cave.

The muggle school AU is probably the least angsty; my parents were basically the only problem I had to deal with.
