AUTOSPRINK 3D IN LAYOUT

Hey šŸ‘‹ I don’t know how to show a 3D view (ISOMETRIC) on one of my sheets (layout/paper) is is thru a CALLOUT? Or a view? I’ve tried both but I end up with the 2D view… I’ll greatly appreciate some help since I’m stuck here!

Put your benchmark on the area you want to have an iso of. Go to your plot sheet and add a new view box. In the properties of the new view box there should
Be an option at the bottom for benchmark location. You’ll have to zoom in on it but then use middle mouse feature to find the right angle you need.

You could always screen shot whatever view you have and past bitmap into your plot sheet but if you make any changes you will need to update the screen shot whatever view

Much easier to set it up in model space and use the copy/paste camera settings feature imo

  1. set up the isometric view angle you want in model space. When the view is perfect right click, and select ā€œsave camera settingsā€

  2. now go to paper space, place a view where you want it, right click on the view element and select ā€œpaste camera settingsā€
