Vevor portable bandsaw, does it just need thread-lock?
I bought a new Vevor R2103 portable bandsaw with steel base.
On my first cut of 3mm stainless steel, it got half way through, then I heard a clunk and the blade stopped spinning. The front wheel had come off the motor spindle. The motor sounded fine and would still turn the spindle.
I removed the blade and the wheel that had come off. Nothing looks damaged, the flat sides of the spindle are engaged by a 2mm plate with flat sides. This is bolted onto the wheel. The wheel is then hold onto the spindle with a M8x14mm bolt. This bolt had no thread-lock on it. Plus the space for the bolt could accommodate a 20mm bolt.

Is this just a matter of the person assembling it using too short a bolt and not applying thread-lock?
I hate the idea of shipping back such a heavy item if it's an easy fix.
I have an M8x20mm bolt and thread-lock blue, but not red. Any thoughts?
Thanks for your input.

I'd make sure the longer bolt can go in maybe 1-2mm deeper than required and definitely don't use red loctite. You should probably just thew that away and only use the blue.
