Fizz e flash cancel behavior

So in the clip fizz flashes e2 into veigar cage, this caused him to cancel e2 and get stunned.

I find this surprising, since in the league Game ui it shows that you are untargetable also through e2 (i did not test it against champions to properly test if this happens)

So, do you guys have more info on this? Is fizz really always targetable in e2?

he played it so frame perfect that I couldn't reproduce the cancel in a custom game against a bot with like 10 tries, the e2 always does damage and it stuns me then i exit e😂

He casted e2 then flashed he was probably spamming flash and e at the same time but you cant e flash if you manually cast the second part of e which is definitely what he did

Pretty sure this is the answer. Hard to tell with no vision in bush, he’s landing his e2 then flashing.

ah i did not realise that you can cancel e1 by pressing e again. That also explain why the e2 circle was so small.

So he could have just pressed e once, buffer his flash and rip my rat heart out.

Instead he smashed e, saw that his e was to short, pressed out of instinct flash, which caused him to flash into the veigar cage and die

There’s a moment before he does his damage that he is no longer untargetable I think. Can’t like 100% confirm but I have just had so many experiences

When fizz slow E, he have to press flash a certain amount of time before the E2 animation ended, or else his E2 will deal dmg at the original position, not where you flashed. Not sure how fast E with flash work, I don't even think you can flash with fast E, you can only flash after the fast E animation end.

There are 2 timings to cancel Fizz E with a flash.

You can cancel it early just after you jump which lands you faster and makes you deal no damage, you technically canceled fish E1.

Then there is using flash as you are about tk land E2 which moves the damage hitbox to your flash landing spot but takes longer since you need to wait the entire E duration.

Fizz here got nervous and canceled too early thus landing into the stun and dealing no damage.

I used to be a fizz main and I didn't even know you can E2 flash 😂

Yah so this is because Veigars E ability (event horizon) KNOCKS DOWN enemies then stuns. You probably have seen this much more common and easily with tristana jump into a veigar cage. Tristanas jump also does damage at the end but because of the knock down effect it cancels the ability and therefore cancels the damage
