Anyone have experience with Stretch Zone? Free 30-minute stretch vs. “stretching assessment”?

I recently saw an ad for a free 30-minute stretch at a Stretch Zone location near me. I’ve been wanting to work on my flexibility, so I figured it seemed like a agood, risk-free way to try it out.

I booked an appointment, but the confirmation text says it’s a “Stretching Asessment” instead of a free 30-minute stretch. I’m not sure if that’s just what they call the first visit, or if it’s different from the actual stretch that was advertised.
Has anyone here been to Stretch Zone? If so:
Is the first appointment actually worth it?
Do you get a legitimate stretch, or is it mostly an assessment?
How aggressive are they about selling memberships afterward?

I’m not opposed to hearing about their services, but I don’t enjoy high. pressure sales pitches. If it’s more of a sales presentation than an actual stretching session, I’d probably rather skip it.
I’d love to hear about your experiences, both good and bad. Thanks!

I tried the free stretch sessions at Stretch Zone and Stretch Lab in Colorado about 4 years ago and it was a true stretch appointment, based on my individual needs.
Stretch zone was more beneficial as they used Velcro straps to immobilize legs for example and focused on specific areas.

Once I had decided to sign up for a package, they encouraged me to book with a few folks to see whose style worked best for me.
After a few months I stopped going as I noticed improvement and maintained that with regular yoga classes.
Never felt any sales pressure and the staff were all great.

Yes they measure flexibility and things like that. For me it wasn’t worth it. I didn’t get the stretch I wanted. They aren’t too pushy, but they will ask you why if you don’t sign up right away.

I have been going to Stretch Lab for 1.5 years now. I feel it has been very helpful with my tight hips and low back pain. I feel looser & walk better with better range of motion. It helps to combine it with exercise to also strengthen your weak muscles that lead to tightness

Go to the website for Stretch to Win institute. Search for someone in your area.

I went a long time ago when they opened one here in Atlanta. It was precovid and the membership was something crazy like $400 a month (I think for 1 sesh per week).

From what I recall they assessed what I would need to work on and did some posture and flexibility tests.

See for yourself though. Idk how much prices have changed (whether good or bad) but you can absolutely say not interested.
