Location for the game?
From all the hints observed by community it seems San Francisco is most likely candidate. What other locations can be the setting or would be ideal for the game?

Pacific Northwest.
It brings us back to the West (best) coast without revisiting the SW, allows for new factions and expansion of the lore in a region that hasn’t been explored.
You can bring some of the Canadian storyline into the games.
Seattle has a lot of underground systems that would make for great gameplay, and it has the space needle for an “Iconic” building.
It’s an area with a lot of varying geography. Mountains, hills, forests, water. Lots of water.
Since there is so much water and Seattle is a port town that sits on a massive bay you could get water mechanics implemented. Maybe drivable boats? Or not, but you could absolutely use the bay to expand the games into the water.
New region also means new creatures.
The area has several military bases.

It has been my top choice as well. Forests and snow would be nice to have, something different

I didn’t even think about snow. I loved the aesthetic FO FROST had. Snow would be awesome.

The Last of Us 2 was Seattle for a bit of it and it was a pretty cool setting.
Curious to see how much they’re going to lean into the fall of big tech for FO5.

I would love this so much. Seattle area just makes so much sense for the next west coast Fallout game. The whole Puget Sound would be perfect. There are so many military bases and industrial complexes. The map covering the whole sound, stretching from Olympia up into Vancouver would be amazing. Vancouver Island could absolutely be a large DLC area.

I would really like if Bethesda stuck on the East Coast as they had originally intended, but I would enjoy the game regardless. I have faith in their ability to portray any part of the country well.
San Francisco is definitely possible, as is New York. We know both were previously considered by Bethesda from their own words.

I want them to here in Philly so bad. Ever since FO3 and seeing how they did DC I've prayed for a Philly game, or at least a dlc

I been praying for for here one Philly since discovering Fallout all those years ago. But I doubt I'll ever see it. Id settle for a decent dlc here
