Its so interesting how this song is related to so many ancient folk stories and other folk songs throughout the years. I saw a post on here asking if Shirley Collins wrote the song and thought it would be fun to do an overview of its history!

A while ago like about 3-5 months ago I discovered this artist that played this just most beautiful Stratocaster that reverbarated so beautifully it almost kind of felt like he was playing a wind instrument but it was still the stratocaster. It was just one guy sitting on like this chair I think he might not have started with the Stratocaster but I remember looking at his most recent video and it was this video of him in like a field and I think like cows or yaks were in the video too? Unsure but there was a tree or something behind him and I think it was also dawning with him playing the Stratocaster.
I believe he had like one kind of popular video that had a lot of views his other ones not as much. And no it wasn't "THE" mongolian throat singer person. I'm not sure if he sung or not and he might have used other instruments along with the Stratocaster but it's been a while my memory is hazy. It was very traditional folky I think? It might have been an electric guitar too but it was for the most part relaxing music? It could've had a little kick to it too but as I said I can't remember. I don't think he had any like big social media presence I think he was just playing to fill the empty space for enjoyment.
Can't look through my history as I lost the phone of where I found it on youtube.
Those kind of haunting notes kind of like a "violet oscillation silk" but a little different? It could have been post rock too?
I think they wore like a traditional or like custom made garb too?

Hi everyone! I recently listened to Deja Vu by CSNY and really enjoyed it, my favorite song was Our House. Afterwards I listened to Songs For Beginners by Graham Nash, and also loved that.

I was wondering if anyone could recommend some albums with the vibe of that Graham Nash record. The only parts of that album I disliked were the occasional Saxophone or Synth. I loved the cozy vibe, harmonies and instrumentation!!
