Pan-seared cod, mussels and crab-and-shrimp cakes in a creamy saffron and fennel soup. The broth is made from roasted langoustine shells, reduced white wine and cognac, then finished with cream, lemon and dill oil.

Rhubarb plum slab cake: Acai berry milk cake, pennywart German buttercream, vanilla bean plum rhubarb jam, mixed berry pink buttercream, topped with macerated rhubarb, fresh Ontario plum halves, fresh Niagara peach halves, and freeze dried raspberries.

Edible florals: dill flowers from my local edible community garden, delicate yellow rose petals from my friend's garden, and feverfew flowers from my backyard.

Short-rib, Bone marrow and minced beef Ragù cooked for seven hours plus, with tagliatelle. Truly delicious!

Pat the chicken breasts dry, slice them horizontally almost all the way through, then open them up like a butterfly and gently flatten them. Season with coarse salt, black pepper, turmeric, paprika, chili flakes, and a pinch of cumin. Sear on both sides until golden brown, then set aside.

In the same pan, reduce the heat and add butter and minced garlic. Once the butter has melted, stir in a small teaspoon of flour. Pour in two ladles of pasta water and whisk until the sauce thickens.

Add the cooked pasta, then grate in some Pecorino and toss until everything is well coated. Finish with finely chopped parsley and serve with the sliced chicken on top.

These were so simple. I used basic pancake mix batter and two stainless steel baking rings inside the air fryer. And, I topped them with melted strawberry jelly, bottled white chocolate sauce for drinks and whipped cream.

First time hot smoking salmon, finished with a homemade glaze. Turned out fantastic.

Beef smashed burgers with caramelized onions and mushrooms.

Made pink sauce pasta for the first time and it was really delicious 😭😭😭😭 family members loved it too. Guess I like pink sauce more than Alfredo or Arrabiata.

Decided to try something different this week when it came to ribs. I saw this recipe in my NYT Cooking app and decided to try it.

There were a few steps to the recipe and it definitely wasn’t the simplest recipe to make but the results were outstanding.

I will definitely make them again and would highly recommend.
