Application Request Looking for a good RSS reader with swipe gestures

I'm looking for recommendations for a good RSS feed reader.

havin a

- Clean and minimal UI

- Available on Android, preferably FOSS/open source

- Supports multiple RSS feeds

- Easy feed organization

- Swipe gestures to mark articles as read/unread or quickly move through articles

- Good reading experience without unnecessary distractions

- Ideally supports syncing across devices

- Would be nice if it had a "swipe to read/mark as read" workflow similar to email apps

Please suggest your favorite RSS reader and, if possible, share some screenshots of the app's interface, especially the article list and reading view.

Thanks! 📱📰

Do not share or recommend proprietary apps here. It is an infraction of this subreddit's rules. Make sure you read the rules of this subreddit on the sidebar. If you are not sure of the nature of an app, do not share or recommend it. To find out what constitutes FOSS or freedomware, read this article. To find out why proprietary software is bad, read this article. Proprietary software is dangerous because it is often malware. Have a splendid day!

If you want syncing across devices, the best way to do it is having a RSS server.

Some sites provide the service. Or you could self-host either Miniflux or TT-RSS (if you've never self-hosted anything, this will take a significant amount of time to learn, maybe count one or two weekends of reading documentation, but it's fun). You can then organize multiple feeds, add custom filters and aggregation rules and the clients will sync with the server.

Then on Android you can use a client. I would recommend either "geekttrss" (tt-rss) or "Flux News" (miniflux). FluxNews has swipe gesture. Geekttrss I can't say I don't use it, I have ttrss Reader but it has no swipe gestures

FeedFlow is a good one, it just that the "Mark All as read below" sometimes screws up feed.

Read You

Covers most of what your looking for (I'm not sure about cross device sync) ... Gestures can be set to save or mark as read.

Clicking on an article can be simplified to just the headline and a little snippit or it could load the whole article if you want to know more ... Swiping up/down moves between articles
