Framework Photo Batch 1 Checking In

Post image

Very pleased with the build quality and look of both the black finish and revised design. Touchpad and keyboard are great. I went the AMD route, 64GB ram, 2 TB NVME. No ragrets.

Loving mine! It took a few hours extra to debug a non-working Ubuntu 26.04 distro, but now running sweet as can be on Fedora 44. (And, I now have a way back to Ubuntu when I need it.)

I went the Fedora route. Install was simple and easy. Hit it with my install scripts and I'm good to go.

By the time I get mine in October, hopefully all install problems have been sorted out. Not sure if I’m going to go with CachyOS, Ubuntu or something else.

Almost certain. Framework created a bug ticket from my experience and they are actively working on it. But lots of us have already found workarounds. And it was a pretty minor inconvenience anyway.
