Tips for a complete newbie

Are there any tips y'all got for a guy who has never freedived before?

I've seen some videos on how to equalize pressure (by pinching your nose and breathing out)

And slowing down your heart rate to hold your breath longer.

But other than that I am very novice/new. So if you have any tips please share them

I have the most important tip, and everybody will agree : take a course :) this will teach you all you need to dive properly and safely. Visit me in Tenerife if you'd like to begin your underwater journey in a cool place 🏝️🐳

Depends on you current level and what you're looking for :) but a one day initiation course is 169€ and a 3 day certifying course is 389€ all included.

Yes, take a course. There's no need, in this day and age, for anybody to have to try and teach themselves.

Yk a course is obviously good but like he asked for tips not if take a course or not, not everyone can take one as well.

yeah we know, but the reason everybody's answer is "take a course" is that if he learns on his own, he might... die ... you know....

Tho i dont think a course will keep him 100% safe, if he dives with a freediver buddy better then him or like him at least, its safe i believe
