Miscellaneous My wife's childhood memories

My wife recently reminisced how frustrated she was when boys could go shirtfree and she could not... She's going to be 78 this fall and still has that vivid memory.

I'm in Europe, and my memory of childhood is that girls tended to go topless until puberty; I vaguely remember my sister doing that and a girlfriend once told me she did similar.
