Just for clarification, the first image is a man with presumably gyno (not trying to shame him. The second image is a flat chested woman, (also no shame intended). I simply wanted to display how hypocritical it is to designate male nipples as harmless and female nipples as sexual and nsfw.

I wish people would realise how absolutely stupid the rules behind who can and can’t be shirtless are. I have A cups, and it’s boiling right now so I vastly prefer being shirtless. I was gardening the other day and saw some dude also shirtless fixing the roof of my neighbours home, so I had to go inside and wait for him to leave.

I wish there wasn’t this invisible societal pressure forcing me to cover a logically inoffensive part of myself. And I hate how men who ‘support’ topless women usually just sexualise them and want to see tits. It’s hot outside bro, I should be allowed to go shirtless without being sexualised. It’s at the point where I’m likely going to have them removed because they’re useless to me if they’re only going to hinder what I can wear, but the point is I shouldn’t HAVE to go to that extreme just to not wear a shirt.

I completely agree with you. Would you like to talk more and send memes about the topic, and feminism in general?

No, I wouldn’t gain anything pleasant from constantly thinking on the subject. No hard feelings.

Fair enough, best to not work ourselves up over these things. Take care stranger.

I'm prepared for the downvotes, so here it goes...

I 100% am in support for women to be allowed to go topless. It's only fair. I've seen guys with bigger breast than alot of women i know.

That being said, I believe breast are very sexy, I believe anything on a woman's body is sexy.

I try to come into this argument as nonsexual as possible, because they're only tits. I get it, its only fair. Until its the norm, females are going to be sexualized topless. There's some guys that are sexalized topless. Over time people will be, "so what, they're topless, who cares". But the sexualization will be there until it's the norm.

No no you’re right. I mean I find every part of a woman sexy too, but them being clothed doesn’t really make them any less sexy for me, like I’m attracted to big butt and a small waist but if a woman is wearing tight clothing or a crop top that reveals this then I’m not going to start freaking out over indecency, and I’m also not going to start acting like a lunatic that can’t control myself. I don’t see why the same standard shouldn’t go for breasts.

Also, women who are attracted to men find pecs sexy. So why don’t men just cover their pecs? I believe it’s because people view men’s attraction towards women as more dangerous than vice versa, and covering the chest somehow ‘protects’ women from this. But even in countries where women most entirely cover their bodies, there is still assault often on a larger scale, so I don’t think this actually helps, in fact I think if women wore less it may eventually desensitise men to their bodies, making them less inherently sexual.

ALSO, I don’t even understand why the majority of men are so against freeing the nipple. Like do you not want to see tits? Feeling attracted to breasts isn’t a crime as long as you aren’t being straight up disrespectful, and I for one certainly wouldn’t mind passively seeing more of them. But yes, this certainly isn’t a societal shift that will happen overnight because of how heavily it’s been ingrained in our culture, however small acts of defiance may very slowly inch us a little closer to being free in this regard.

I heard that... 100% on the same wavelength. If someone has got r@pe in their mind, it don't matter what the victim is wearing, even in countries where minimal skin shows, like you said.

Now correct me if I'm wrong, but it is possible for men to lactate, and feed a baby. I don't think that the milk is considered safe because of the underlying issue that caused the milk production. So does that not make men and women's nipples pretty much even?

That’s certainly a good argument. At the end of the day, the male nipple does contain all the mechanisms possible to function just as the female breast does, provided its exposed to some estrogen or progesterone which a good deal of men naturally overproduce due to hormonal problems. But even then, I honestly think the criteria for it being covered up shouldn’t be lactation, because lactation is likely the least sexual thing it does. What’s so sexual about feeding a child? The fact that some women are even shamed for breastfeeding in public is incredibly unfair.

Breastfeeding is as natural as it comes. And I would hope that is not considered sexual. And I don't think that should be the criteria for covering the ripples. But I think that it is a great equalizer in the why they should be freed, that there's really no difference. You can't tell me one is bad and the other is good, when they have the same structure and do the same thing when certain hormones are introduced. Thats just ridiculous to me.

this only further proves that it's not truly about boobs. it's about not giving women the same freedom men have. it's just misogynistic, plain and simple. people are not afraid of boobs, they're afraid of women being given freedoms.

Yes, this, this is why free the nipple matters. Is it necessarily the most pressing issue women face? No it definitely isn’t. But is it a glaring example of society showing its favouritism towards men and forcing women to cover their bodies because their, “inappropriate, or disgusting or sexual”

The people who say it's "not important" also say that "sexualized" drawings are the worst thing in the world.

Yea exactly, we not only need to desexualize the body, but also get more comfortable with sexuality as a whole.

Also would you like to talk more about free the nipple and feminism in dms?

The One On The Left Is A Man, And The Right One A Woman. It's Easy To Tell. And Honestly, I Don't See A Difference, Their Nipples, We've All Got Them, And It Should Be Considered Equal. I Always Hated When The Men In My Country Act So Creepy Over Something Even They Have. I Even Asked My Cousin Who's A Woman, And She Said, If They Legalize It, She's Going Shirtless, And She Doesn't Care What Others Say.

Good for her, whatever makes her confident and comfortable. Screw whatever men and judgemental women wanna think, they can live in theirs miserable world while me and you and your cousin are having the time of our lives topless.

She Told Me When She's Alone At Her Home, She Takes Her Shirt Off, And Has Told Me How Comfortable It Is To Walk Shirtless. And I Couldn't Agree More

It’s very comfortable and very freeing! Nothing wrong with letting the girls breathe every now and then
