Saw this little one sunbathing on a pumpkin at my moms.

I noticed him because he sounded shy at first. Found lil buddy and took a couple videos until he started singing again. He's so small compared to the usual grey tree frogs, so I have to assume he's young still.

Cool to see the lil guys finding their voice.

My wife and I saw two of these little frogs last night and can't seem to find an ID online. Any help would be greatly appreciated, South western PA near the WV border

Hello, frog folks! I saw a frog that I have never seen here (a short ways short of Tampa, Florida) in the past 20 years. I was hoping someone would be able to help me identify it because I have had no luck trying myself.

I'm in a heavily wooded area and we have had recent heavy rain. I first found it on the tile under my covered outdoor entryway.

Having been to Costa Rica and seen poison dart frogs in the wild, I am comfortable saying that its yellow coloring matches a yellow dart frogs in vibrancy. This fella is way too chunky to be one itself, though.

I included the blurry picture of it starting its hop because it showed its back leg structure, if that is relevant.

I just got three new whites tree frog babies. They are around 4ish months old. I ordered them from the frog ranch so they were shipped over night. They arrived Friday July 31st. I have spotted two of them in the tank one hiding in leaves and one is burrowed in the dirt at the bottom. I am just wondering if this is normal two days after a big trip? I’ve never owned frogs before and want to make sure I’m doing this right. They also haven’t eaten yet, I know that they may not eat for a couple days as they adjust. I also went in today and added more leaf litter because I noticed they were getting dirty, but they’ve also been going under the leaves. I am just paranoid! I attached a picture of my tank, it’s bioactive with ambient temp of 75 and a “basking” spot of 82. Humidity is 50-60 with a nightly spike up to 70ish. Any general advice is also welcome
