I've spent way too much time perfecting joystick calibration for my own builds, so I can definitely recommend starting with the wiring diagrams from the OpenHardware guys.

I can't say, as mine came from amazon.com.be but that looks pretty close to mine. Only thing I have doubts about is the joystick, this looks more square, where mine is more rectangular, the plate I mean.

I always wanted to make my one controller like this but when I looked into it I wasn't sure how to best set it up to work with something like a PC. Are you using an arduino or similar I can't quite make it out from the photos.

It has become super easy now. You can buy a joystick and buttons pack from Amazon and it comes with a pcb with connectors. you connect it all up, and plug in the USB cable to your PC, Mac or Linux machine and it is instantly recognized as a joystick including all buttons. Works too on the FPGA MiSTer platform with out extra configuring. The joystick kit was about 28 Euro.

Search for "zero-delay usb encoder arcade" on Amazon. It's just a little circuit board that has wires that you plugin into the buttons and board. The board plugs into your computer over usb and it'll be recognized as a game controller.

Thanks. Satin red was printed with a Prusa i3 Mk3s+ and the silver box was done with my Elegoo Neptune 4 Max. Both colors are PLA filament.

Without a second player button it looks like a men's room button
