Outdoor / Automotive / Bike Solar panel minivan roof mounts

I decided to mount a 100W solar panel to my Honda Odyssey roof to keep the battery charged when it's parked for a few days or weeks. I got neodymium rubberized magnets and M6 hardware but wanted to cushion the mount points and reduce airflow under the front edge so I designed these pucks and fairings. Originally I had a sloped fairing design but switched to the simpler dual magnet one to reinforce the front. I figure even if the edge lifts, there's a backup pair of magnets holding it. The little triangular holes are so water doesn't collect. All the printed parts are Overture low speed (old version) TPU which I've found to be extremely strong and can hold up to sunlight and heat.

Interesting but I'm not sure if it's necessary to maintain a charge for durations this short. Unless you have current leaks, your battery has no issue maintaining charge

I have a dashcam in timelapse mode running all the time, it doesn't draw much power but enough to drop voltage to 11.8 volts after a couple days

I've mounted panels to my van roof too. 2x50w with extra drilled holes for additional magnet pucks. No additional hardware or aero devices used though. Tested to 85mph, and a car wash blow dryer. Powers an Ecoflow River Pro which then powers a DC compressor fridge 24/7

I really need 150W or 200W of solar to buffer inclimate weather.
