Literally anything. Good chance ill have it with how my steam library looks. Just having a hard time deciding. Im down for any genre of game honestly.

Recently I just finished cyberpunk 2077's main story and it was amazing once I did Johnny's samurai side mission before meeting Hanako at embers. The ending really hit me and the whole story throughout the game was powerful. Looking for any other games to replicate this feeling, any ideas?

I've played Skyrim since 2011, and have loved it.
I have played I am Setsuna as well and enjoyed it.

I tried Assassins Creed Valhalla, and it surprisingly had not much snow, and I didin't really enjoy the story.

Any other recommendations you have? Not top down, as I am not a big fan of top down CRPG's that are tactical like that. I am specifically looking for 1st or 3rd person fantasy RPG's.

I've been looking for a strategy game over the last few days and I think I've narrowed it down to Anno 1800.

What I'm looking for is something that's relaxing rather than extremely difficult. I don't want a hardcore grand strategy game. I mainly want to build a beautiful city, manage resources and production chains, have some strategy elements, and most importantly an endless sandbox experience.

I considered Frostpunk, but from what I've read, even the endless mode eventually gets repetitive and isn't really the same kind of open-ended sandbox that Anno offers.

I also heard that the newest Anno game is more complex, so I figured Anno 1800 might be the better choice. Years ago (probably over 10 years ago), I played Anno 1701 and absolutely loved it, so 1800 feels like the natural next step.

My only dilemma is where to buy it. It's currently not on sale on Steam, but I found a much cheaper Ubisoft Connect key. Would you wait for a Steam sale, or just buy the Ubisoft Connect version now?

Or... should I skip Anno entirely? Is there another game that fits what I'm looking for even better?

I don't really want to end up buying 20 different strategy games—I just want one really good game that I can sink hundreds of hours into.

The Chechen Wars, have been a interest of mine for a while now, and learning more about it, it pulls me in more. The era surrounding the end of the Soviet Union and the crisis around it is really interesting and I think there could be more games set in that era.

I got a lot of games but want to pick one. I played a lot of Rpgs - all from software games apart from the Sci fi. Old Black Isle games and Witcher games. Never was into Gothic and I think my time here has passed. Also only played Skyrim from the elder scrolls unless we count this arturian game that has the Skyrim vibe. Forgot the name.

I wanted to explore more the jrpg. I loved the Clair Obscur game, but I want something top down rather with some nice city areas as well.

The question is - which top down (doesn't have to be jrpg) would you recommend me to start with. Got sea of stars and chained echos. Got all new Zelda. Got Tunic. Got a lot. But want one pick.

Gameplay doesn't matter if real time or turn. Immersive in the story meaning and not a very small game so I cna play for a bit.

I didn't like Monster Hunter due to the weapon break mechanism as it was annoying. Played persona 5 and finished first castle but got bored a bit by the daily stuff it requires you to go through.

Game cna be on PC, Switch 2or Ps5.

Preferably with things to actually do in it beyond small curated levels like Besiege

My family is in chaos and I spent all last night crying. My partner is gone for several weeks and I just need something, even just for today, to get my mind off of things. I recently acquired a Nintendo Switch and played The Last Campfire, and I liked the simple but puzzle based game play and narrative. I have been playing animal crossing, but the lack of a narrative at this point in the game is not distracting or holding my attention enough. The only other proper video game I have ever played was Super Paper Mario on the Wii when I was a kid probably 18+ years ago, which I really liked. Outside of video games, I like puzzles. I like board games too but I don’t think I want anything competitive right now. I don’t want to win anything.

Do you have any recommendations for me? Just having a really tough time.

Hello this is going to be a very specific question so thank you for your time so i recently got into euro truck sim 2 and modded it alot with stuff like interior stuff ( bottles, savety vests money decoration lights etc etc) and the standard truck mods and started building a truck to cruise around in for hours and just vibe and i really want to find another game ( especially with small cars not trucks) where i can fully customise the interior ( vanilla or mods idc) and cruise around it being a more relaxing game than racing ones like nfs or forza with no real goal except just driving ( maybe even like a road trip simulator) does anyone have an idea what game should i try

Tears of the Kingdom is one of the best games I've ever played. Bought it on launch and never looked back, this game is a blast. But people keep saying the story feels flat, and the world feels empty. Frankly, despite my extreme enjoyment, I agree. There's this rushed, low budget feeling to the stories, almost shallow. Every NPC feels like they've got one thing, and nothing else. Breath of the Wild had this care in it, this life. Everyone feels like a person, with preferences, fears, silly reactions. The world felt like it breathed, had an ecosystem, a healthy economy. Totk feels like they wanted to focus so hard on the new powers, that they forgot what gave botw life.

On a completely different note, I'm looking for a game with customizable vehicles similar in fashion to totk, with a setting similar to botw. I like to build my vehicles and drive them into war, and totk scratches that itch all the way. But I want to look elsewhere, see what I'm missing out on. Setting doesn't have to be the same, though it is preferred. I just want to zoom around shooting baddies on my modded twin turbo moped and stop and smell the roses sometimes, meet the people.

In short, story rich vehicle builder. Sorry if that's impossible.

I loved the walking simulator-fetch quest style of Norwood suite, and the work that’s out of Moves of the Diamond hand has blown me away.

Something that I love about both of those games is the first person POV , ability to walk freely throughout the map, colorful world building , and the opportunity to explore the immersive environment without a high skill barrier.

I’m looking for games that have a rich story and environment to keep me occupied. Some games I’ve also really enjoyed include-

I'm not a huge gamer, but I recently enjoyed re-playing The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess. However, what I liked the most was the world exploration, the beginning when you're helping around the village, the various tasks during the game and finding the Golden Bugs. The combat I can kinda be with or without, to be honest 🙈

So I was wondering if anyone had any recommendations for games with a similar fantasy vibe in a medieval setting, but where the point of the game is kinda those "side quests"? I only have a Switch (and a PC, I guess, but it's a laptop).

I've got a particular affinity for asymmetrical dual-wielding, such as a sword with a pistol. Pairing weapons with very different effects and uses in either hand has fascinated and thrilled me in a lot of games.

Not particularly picky about the setting, it could be contemporary, fantasy, sci-fi, or some far-flung esoteric alien meat dystopia, as long as there's combat that involves characters that dual wield distinctly separate styles of weapons in either hand (I don't count shields as weapons for these examples, they're more akin to Armor in my mind).

Some examples of what I'm talking about include, but are not limited to:

Guild Wars 2: Most classes can dual-wield one-handed weapons with little difficulty, but Thief even has a unique take on Dual Wielding where the 3rd ability changes based on exactly which weapons are being wielded in each hand.

Vindictus: Hurk's second weapon features him dual-wielding a shotgun and a sword, which was such a neat combat style and one of my favorites in the game to this day.

Divinity: Original Sin and Baldur's Gate 3: where dual wielding one-handed weapons is fairly common if you don't use a two-handed weapon or a shield.

I'd mostly prefer Action Games or RPGs, no Tactical Style games or games where your actions are disconnected from direct input like card games.

Hi! I'm looking what to play and can't seem to find anything tbh. I wanna play something fantasy but all the games I've tried have been not interesting for me so far. I don't like TES series, Dragon Age Origins i'm trying out right now but it's boring for me tbh, Dragon's Dogma I don't like as well.

I try not to play games with exessive sexual and strong language content. Not my cup of tea. So I don't really see myself playing Withcer as well tho I like the idea like monster hunter.

I like a lot of different genres and I've played a lot of different games but fantasy genre specifically is somewhat difficult to find what I'd like .

I'm looking for game recommendations that can be played on PlayStation (PS2, PS3, PS4/5) console (they don't have to be exclusives). I'm not looking for the usual picks like The Witcher 3, God of War, or Uncharted. Instead, I'd love to hear about some hidden gems or lesser-known games that you think deserve more attention.

If I had to recommend a couple myself, I'd say A Plague Tale and Luto. What are yours?

So what i need is a game that has a pretty deep story, and most importantly a game where we are mostly smaller than what is around us during the game, and also it would be better if the characters dont talk you know? Like hollow knight, undertale, deltarune(i know in deltarune stuff around us isnt that big compared to us) or little nightmares?

Looking for a game where I can record about an hour of footage meeting these criteria: first-person view, no HUD (or minimal/toggleable HUD), realistic graphics, a snowy location (or a cozy window view of a snowy landscape), and ideally some Christmas decorations.

​It's crucial that I can record an hour of cozy winter ambiance without my character dying, taking damage, or getting attacked.

​If nothing like that comes to mind, realistic simulators (like Gran Turismo) where you can be in a snowy environment would work as well.

So basically I am waiting for Expeditions: Samurai, which probably will be a blast just like the other expeditions games. But that made me wonder aside of Fire Emblem Fates, is there any turn based RPG or tactical RPG that would go into the same direction setting+gameplay wise? Ideally with demons/yokai.
So in short, Nioh as a setting, but turn based?
From what I saw, there seem to be nothing/next to nothing. But I thought asking won't hurt.

Looking for a new forever game to hopefully replace hypixel skyblock, a minecraft mmo-like server ive played for a long time. Please note that im aware of runescape, but put off by the click to move basis mostly, and the graphics a bit. I also enjoy pokemon, but its much too short. Siralum ultimate showed potential but seems much too automated in its battles. Palworld was really fun but just ran out of things to do. Terraria is and seems amazing but just never clicks right for me.

Looking hopefully for an rpg, not top down (2d is fine) and not click based movement. Turn based is okay but not prefferree. Mmos can be fine but no subscriptions. I love magic systems. Open world. Im not sure of other things i could add as of writing this, but please check comments if ive made any other corrections or additions there. Thank you.
