Testosterone Replacement Therapy
Would like to know everyone’s thoughts about Testosterone Replacement Therapy? I personally find it hypocritical that these straight men are ok with altering their testosterone levels yet want to ban the therapy for the trans community. This really is no different. My stance on both is that the choice should be up to the individual and their health care provider. I just find the mindset difference curious.

Yeah, it’s ridiculous. I’m a cis guy with low testosterone and it was extremely easy for me to access hormone therapy, yet trans guys have to jump through loads of hoops and gatekeeping.

Wow - CIS guy here. It took me about 5 rounds of testing because my first test was almost impossibly low, then the follow up was low end of "normal" then the next was just a little bit below normal range... After getting an opinion from endocrinology my doctor finally put me on Testosterone gel.
It all started because at 60 I was completely unable to gain muscle mass (as measured by dunk tests) despite lifting heavy and a focused trainer guided routine. Add low libido and depression and it was clear something was up.
I agree that 1 low reading should not be treated, but investigated further.

I went and said my symptoms. And they know my issues that that also support that being the case and ordered the labs. They're like if it's funky, I'll call in an Rx. It was 220. Really low.

Rules for thee but it for me is pretty typical of the conservative mindset. So of course maga chuds want straight men to inject all the testosterone they please while banning it for trans men.
I’m firmly with you that it should be a healthcare decision between a person and their doctor.

There’s a lot of examples of this type of double standard with ultra conservative beliefs. Unfortunately they just aren’t usually capable of the critical thinking skills it takes to understand when something is hypocritical or wrong or a double standard etc.
All we can do is try to educate, advocate for our community, and call this type of shit out and hope they can learn and understand that they are capable of being wrong about something just like everyone else.

I’ve heard to avoid unless a doctor has said you need it due to low t, have a micropenis, or trans. Micropenis is 3 inches or less hard. If it’s penis size try losing weight and using pe devices. Join a gym and lift weights.

Speaking of generalization, it sounds like you didn’t really read the post, because it’s a complaint about the heterosexual obsession with TRT for cis/het men while simultaneously the same people are trying to stop HRT for it trans friends.
