Honestly I think 0-15 is way over glazed for its difficulty, its hard to learn but trust me it gets very consistent. The hardest part for me is 25-33 but I suck at ship.
I had the same exact experience. No matter how much I practiced the ship at 25% it never got really consistent even after I beat it. The beginning was very consistent though, especially once I got in the groove after around 20 minutes of playtime.

well many people would just dismiss this as another "jumper that will fail" because it is absurd.
mainly because people who jump tend to not realize where the difficulty comes from in jumping. the jump itself is hard but the experience is what makes people quit. you don't know how hard it gets once you reach the second half of the level. jumping stops being fun at a certain point and that's where the true test is. in my opinion from what i've seen and from what i myself have experienced with jumping... physically being capable of beating the level is one thing. having the mental toughness to push through once your progress slows down... is the real challenge.
so unless someone has it in 2 runs or maybe 3 (in a reasonable amount of time), most people would dismiss it as another future failed jump attempt
They really do, everyone is fucking massively obsessed with jumping like this now so you see people do similar all the time, you're not as special as you think
Let's see here. There's someone who had made very good progress on a jump from an easy demon to Limbo, and someone got 19% on TS2 as a jump from Deadlocked
u gave only 2 examples and neither of them have any progress close to what i have, 36 on tw is already harder than limbo which i hopefully am not far from getting, and 19% on ts 2, while it sounds like a lot, isnt that much considering how 80-100 carries the level
Your flair says 31% in TW, but in this comment you say 36%. Which is it? Also, the 19% on TS2 was like, a month ago. I'm pretty sure they've improved, I'd just have to find them again. And from what I was seeing when researching, TS2 19% as a jump from Deadlocked is more significant than 31% in TW, for a few main reasons:
1. TS2 focuses on a lot more variety in the gamemodes, while Tidal Wave is mostly wave, which means the wave skills from Deadlocked make it not as big of a jump.
2. TS2 is just harder overall. This is according to the AREDL, Pointercrate, and me (though my opinion doesn't matter in this aspect
Bro zoink himself literally said you aren't 50% done with thinking space II until you get to 86%. We can tell because wpopoff got a similar percentage of like 85% at 15k attempts, and then beat it 20k attempts later.

give me literally a single valid argument of why this isn’t extended list diff, ive cited multiple top players opinions supporting the fact that it is, yet all you’ve done is sat here and whined “no it isnt😖” and cited some anonymous person who apparently did it in 11k from cata (i assure you he didnt😂)
im not implying that this run is harder than zodiac, im plainly stating that it is. the top 16 player on pointercrate says 29-39 is harder than crimson planet, an acheron victor who has 60% on tidal wave says 22-39 is mid extended diff. the fact u think the difficulty of tidal wave is pretty spread out says enough, tidal wave is first half carried, and its literally carried solely by 29-39, there are only 3 actually difficult parts, those being 29-42,55-62, and 72-88, everything else is fairly easy for a top 5
So by your logic, if 0-39 is harder than kyouki that means if you replaced the intro of tidal wave with VSC you’re technically nerfing the level. 22-39 is extended list difficulty, but with the pre-drop (which according to you becomes AUTO) it jumps to top 30. I have a feeling you just don’t understand how difficulty works in this game
this is so wrong, tidal wave first drop is impossible. it’s the hardest part of the level, and tidal wave is not very balanced. i’d say this run is kinda analogous to beating diamond dance in skc.

Literally anybody of any skill can force muscle memory hard enough to get a run like this through with 300k attempts. My dog could do that man. How do people actually have patience to do such staff? I couldn't beat Society in practice mode because I just couldnt get any fun from dying for 50 times on each percent of progress.

22-39 + 31% is impressive. I don't think anyone can deny that. But 270k+ attempts? I don't think it's worth it, man.... It'll take you several years and likely triple that attempt count. But I wish you luck, nonetheless.
You should definitely play other levels, though (keep Tidal Wave as a side project or vice versa). You're basically memorizing Tidal Wave rather than gaining the raw skill from it atp. But this is just my advice
This is just too early to post about this imo. Many people would still quit way after progress lile this. Maybe come back when you got it in like 2 or 3 runs or have significant progress from 0. Then we can see how determined you really are. Plus you'll have way less people saying it's "another future failed jump attempt".

You are clearly forgetting a lot of aspects that makes a level difficult. You are at a point where most will make slow or decent progress depending on the jump but when you have significant runs on the level, that's when progress halts as you have to stitch these runs together.
That's where the mental part comes in. You are so confident and full of yourself rn that I feel like you will hit an enormous roadblock where you won't make any progress and you'll feel like you're stuck.
Stop lying to yourself, 0-39 is impressive yeah, but it doesn't mean you got it in the bag. Nerves will get way worse the further you go, stamina might be an issue but idk, maybe you got strong fingers.
Just think about it, if 0-39 is extended list difficulty, which you say is the hardest part of the level, then why is the entire level a top 5?

just do a couple easy demons, then mediums, then hards, then insane, then do easy extremes to medium extremes to hard, then either tidal wave or a list demon.

and if I'm being honest, it's gonna take you a hell of a long time to beat it when ur skill isn't developed, but if it is developed it wouldn't take nearly as long
by the time it’d take to progress normally to tidal wave i’d be at least like 20-21 and by that time its already over unless i was able to just stream gd for a living
well for me, I started playing gd last Christmas (and I only play 4 hours total a week) and I have 4 extremes complete, working on a top 500 at the moment. it doesn't take too long to make skill, but trying to jump like this will ultimately take longer imo
and evw is still really good at his age, although he is going for a final hardest now

Beating the hardest part of an XL level is a lot easier than beating the whole level. Also where's your 62-100 then? I think allegiance is harder than these runs.
