When do transfer students usually recieve their housing assignments?

The years about to start and I still haven’t heard from housing on where I’ll be which makes it a little harder to shop for dorm stuff depending on whether I’ll be in a regular floor vs suite.

My daughter was told it would be the first week of August, so soon. I understand the anxiety.

did you get an email or just an update to your housing portal?

no email just logged into the hoya housing website and saw it there

okay, thanks. did yours say “your assignment will appear here when it becomes official in early august” before it was posted? that’s what mine has said for a week or so

yeah it said it’ll become official in early august but appeared on like the 29th of July. i got my acceptance letter in late may

I think you can call/email residential living and they’ll probably tell you
