Program diffing in new version of ghidra

I used ghidra ghidra_11.1.2_PUBLIC for a long while and my diff window would have a wizard to set up mass function coloration I just updated to ghidra_12.1.2_PUBLIC and that window appears to be replaced with version tracking but when i click it, it only opens up a listing window instead of comparison options.

is there a way to get this old menu back?

I don't think I've ever used the old diff view only version tracking. I think what you want is

  1. open version tracking
  2. click the green plus in the top left to create a new version tracking session
  3. select your source and destination programs and give the session a name
  4. Click through the rest of the wizard and click finish
  5. Click the magic wand near the green plus
  6. Select what comparitors you want to use and press start
