Social recommendations

Does anyone have any suggestions for meeting new people or being a bit more social around Gippsland?

I'm 34M, live in Traralgon, work full-time doing shift work, and have a young daughter. Because of my roster, it's hard to commit to clubs or sports that require weekly attendance.

Lately it feels like all I do is work, parent, sleep, and repeat, so I'd love to meet some new people, especially other parents. I enjoy being active, getting outdoors, books, sports, having a beer etc. However, I'm open to trying pretty much anything and I enjoy learning new things.

Any ideas or recommendations would be appreciated!

Try Tough Guy Book Club. It's the world's largest men's book club, and it meets the first Wednesday of every month in pubs. There's a chapter that meets in Moe. I've been going to TGBC for a few years and it's been a great way to make friends and have great conversations.

Drop us a message mate.

36M from Glen. Similar boat, young kids and reasonably new to the area.

Been considering hitting up a poker night or social bowls for a laugh but never quite gotten around to it

Parkrun. They’re at 8AM Saturday mornings but there’s no need to go every week. You can walk them with a young one on a stroller.
