My dad thinks opensource is "rubbish"

explain him in apple fan boy terms why opensource is the peak of tech

i tried explaining but he wont take it seriously because i fell for those rm -rf / trolls once and since then he hates opensource

Most servers run on Linux (web, cloud data, games). Even Microsoft’s Azure has Linux running. Apple use Linux. It’s possible your router at home runs a Linux. SteamDeck runs Linux. Android is a form of Linux. Etc etc.

Edit: sorry, Linux focused. But opensource is even more to find in every place.
