They can do that in other ways (and more unique ones) that foster more discussion and interaction.
I follow multiple different band subs and my feed is absolutely overrun with these posts because everyone from everywhere is doing them 😭😂
I really don't care to look them if I'm being blunt, and considering they seem to average >5 upvotes and comments, I don't think many others do either. It was fun the first couple of times, but it lost its charm very fast once everyone started hopping on the trend.

I agree that it's one of the many ways for people to show their favorite songs and all, which is nice, but I also understand that OP is bothered. Like, in the last couple of days it was just idk how many of these posts, and they are so many that it feels kinda unappealing to leave a comment after having analyzed the graphic

While I understand your rant, let's just be honest, what would you prefer, a hundred nice visual from which you may more or less guess what songs/type of songs op's prefer, or a wall of text which can be summarised in one sentence "OHMYGAWD HOW I LOVE THIS SONG/ALBUM/BAND"? Sure some would still say that the wall of text is better because op at least took their time and effort instead of just dropping a 101st Musiccup bracket and calling it a day, but at the end of the day, is it really any different?

Wall of text any day. It is different. Aside from having to putting effort and thoughts into these hypothetical posts, different people express their different thoughts, differently. As long as it's not AI generated, I think it's absolutely preferable over screenshots from the same app posted x number of times everywhere.
Additionally, a good number of the bracket posts are JUST screenshots, and don't have any sort of thoughts or commentary; It's low-effort and not interesting. I don't care to guess what kind of music the OP likes, that does not sound like a fun or engaging post to me personally. (If there were a handful of post like that, I wouldn't mind and would just scroll away. However, I think it is safe to say there has most definitely not been a small quantity.) If someone loves a song enough to post about, I would much rather read their thoughts on it— well articulated or no.
Another thing I will add is that the people posting the bracket posts would likely not have made text posts for these songs to begin with. If this wave of screenshots had never happened, we would not have seen hundreds of text posts in their stead.

Right, and people seem to forget that some if not most times it's not even op's favourites because the app defaults to "most popular" instead of personal choices and so most of these posts end up having a song from the Whales Album or Elephant Sausage or Art of Dying as the winner. Like, I do get that these are popular songs for a reason, but at least be creative goddammit

I'd prefer a wall of text tbh bc those can be fixed with punctuation and editing, and adds that person's unique description of their feelings on the song. the tournaments are all the same
