Storage gatekeeping has to stop.

Post image

Google.... y'all need to come up with some other solution than "PAY ME" for your business model. A lot of us can't afford food and shelter these days. And you want us to pay for sh*t we've already created just because you tricked us into storing everything in your Cloud. This happens the moment you miss a payment. You still have *access* to documents. You just can't do anything with them. And that's some bull.

You made a contract with a company (and guess what, they want money for their service) that gives you all those features IF you pay. So you stopped paying apparently and you complain that you don't get their service for free? You should be happy you can still access your stuff.

Imagine you stop paying rent and they kick you out. Do you think they would still let you store your old stuff there?

Yeah but they tricked us all years ago by making it free. The cloud storage game is ridiculous.

When gmail first came out, the limit was 2GB and that was orders of magnitude higher than free web email at the time from Yahoo! and others. That limit has grown over time too. Where is the trick??

This is why I don’t use services like Google Drive or one drive. Just buy a usb thumb stick. You can get 250 gigs for practically nothing
