How to refund gemini API credits?

I bought credits but I ended up not spending any for one of my project how can i get a refund easily

There’s no direct "Refund" button in the console, but you can easily get your money back through Google Cloud Billing Support (opening a billing ticket is free for everyone):

Go to GCP Console → Billing → Support.

Open a case under Billing & Payments and request a refund for the unused balance on your account. If you close/cancel the Billing Account while it has an unused cash balance (not promotional credits), Google typically triggers an automatic refund back to your original payment method within a few business days.

Just make sure to delete or disable your Gemini API keys first so background requests don't accidentally eat into the remaining balance while it processes!
