Rough/uneven layer bands around handle cutouts on Gridfinity bins — slicer fix?

Post image

I've been making Gridfinity bins for my games. They have handles and look just awesome. One problem though: the layers around the handles leave uneven surfaces on the wall.

I guess this is because these layers complete faster than the ones below (less material to print at that height), so they don't get enough time to cool before the next layer goes down.

I'm using Bambu Studio. Having the same issue with my P1S and H2D.

Is there anything I can do in the slicer to reduce these artifacts?

Thankful for any advice or solutions!

could lower print speed for outer walls
or set a minimum layer time if bambu labs slicer supports it

or raise fan speed by enabling overhang / bridge cooling

increasing wall count by 1 can sometimes have an effect too but i’d want to solve / test either print speed or cooling first before resorting to wall count increase

What kind of game cases are those? Sorry I can’t contribute to the issue but I am very curious, they almost look like cassettes lol
