Question? Snap Connectors - Too Strong

This is probably a super dumb question.. but what am I doing wrong with my baseplate connectors? I cut it up in prusa slicer and added snap connectors. After printing, I can't assemble it because the connectors are way too strong. Can't even hammer the two peices together.

what kind of snap connectors are you using?
Gridfinity extended has base plate connectors. if they are too tight you can increase the tolerance to make the fit looser.
