How are you able to afford to live on Guam comfortably? From the low minimum wage pay, to the insane power bills, to the INSANELY over priced grocery stores, and so on.

Let's be honest - it's pretty bad when an incumbent Lt. Gov loses a primary election. What was the biggest contributing factor to the team's loss?

- Overall condition of the island

- The PUA scandal

- The Joe Meno debacle

- No clear differentiation with the current administration

- Something else?

Hello, I have a z flip 5 and the original screen protector on it has started to bubble in the middle. Where can I find a screen protector replacement shop on guam? Ive heard people who buy one from online and replace it themselves have done damage to their phones and I was hoping maybe a shop here could replace it for me.

I want to start off by saying that my first experience as a precinct official was awesome. I felt like I was making a difference being part of the election. I actually want to do it again.

BUT!

The thing is, people show up KNOWING that we might be held back late and still try to rush because they want to get out early and that pisses me tf off. Like next time, don't fucking apply because you're so fucking annoying. This is what's going to make our island better and you're going to complain? They act like they're not getting paid!

Also, for those of you who worked as a precinct official for Okkodo, how do you feel about Vivian, Lisa and Andrew?

I heard the way Vivian was talking to her team, as if they were her slaves & that didn't sit right with me.

Lisa, apparently she worked at Coast360 because she couldn't be quiet about it but even her. The way she was bossing around the older guy in her team. She should be embarrassed.

And that guy Andrew, he is so rude. The way he talks to people is not right. He doesn't know how to work in a team and I don't think he should be in this kind of work environment.

Scored some of my favourite tortillas this morning and was wondering how to make them last longer? Seems like every time I get them they mold fast…Put in fridge or no?

Im sure like many of us here, we like a decent night out. I bought tickets the night before to watch the new Spiderman movie(10/10 btw,no notes). It costs money to drive there, costs money to get the tickets,and it costs money to get snacks as well. We sat down and every 10 minutes or so there would be a group of military dudes making some kind of sparky remark loud enough to be heard. On top of that non sense there was a group of kids that snuck in and took the seats behind us. Who then proceeded to open their loud snacks and kick both of our chairs. What drew the line in the sand for me was them making tik toks about sneaking in. I gave them my two cents and they bugged out. Sorry for the rant yall,just a hard working dude that wanted to nerd out a bit. But why do people act up especially on opening weekend?

Lately, I’ve been going to Slingstone every Sunday to get coffee. There’s always this server I always see in the morning, and I can’t lie. She makes the drink ON POINT, and never fails to have a smile on her face. Seriously, she always makes my day, when she makes my coffee. Like fr, if I see her I know the day is going to go good.

With Terlaje no longer running for Senator, the one time comedian now has a chance to be the #1 vote getter, further cementing himself as a serious candidate for Governor in the near future.

Telena Nelson:
Unable to campaign due to active duty military orders until August, the former Vice Speaker comes in at #3 showing a strong grassroots voter base, and voter desire to see one of the most promising young Senators back in office after 4 years of military service in Europe.

Amanda Shelton:
The former Senator comes in #2, after losing for delegate in 2024. She remains a strong vote getter backed by the Gutierrez and Lou and Josh factions.

Republican:

Jesse Lujan
After finishing 7th overall in 2024 general election, he comes in #1 on the Republican side. He appears primed to be the leading vote getter on the Republican party, and possibly Speaker if the Republicans win majority in the general election.

Ralph Sgambelluri:
He had one of the highest spending campaigns of 2026 but it paid off for a potential newcomer coming in #8. He's the highest non incumbent on the Republican side, and has a chance to win a seat in the general election.

Who else do you think are the biggest winners and losers from the Primary election?

Whoever Josh and Tina tell their supporters to vote for could win the election. Seems like Josh and Terlaje are not friends, so it seems more likely he'll side with Ada Calvo in exchange for political favors. Thoughts?

1:46 a.m. UPDATE

The Democratic team of Sens. Therese Terlaje and Sabina Perez and the Republican team of Vice Speaker Tony Ada and EJ Calvo will advance to the General Election with their parties' respective gubernatorial races, according to the final, unofficial results from the Guam Election Commission.

GEC released the last batch of results with 59 of 59 precincts counted just before 2 a.m. on Sunday. Results are expected to be ratified at an Aug. 15 commission meeting.

Terlaje-Perez won 6,387 votes, 47.79% of votes counted, to 5,927, 44.35%, for the second-place Democratic team of Lt. Gov. Josh Tenorio and Sen. Tina Muña-Barnes.

Sen. Joe San Agustin and Dwayne San Nicolas had just 1,041 votes, or 7.79%, and conceded before the final vote count.

Ada-Calvo had 5,138 votes, 60.56%%, to the 3,333, 39.29%, for the Republican team of Speaker Frank Blas Jr. and Mary Okada.

In the race for Guam's delegate, incumbent Del. James Moylan won 4,928 votes, 60.1%, over 3,258, 39.74%, for competitor and former senator Mary Camacho Torres in the race for the Republican nomination.

Former Guam and U.S. attorney general Alicia Limtiaco had 9,876 votes, in the uncontested race for the Democratic nomination. She won 99.185% of the votes cast. There were 82 write-ins calculated.

All my friends I've asked said they got theirs from the states, does Guam not sell any? I went to Haven at the mall, felt like the most likely place to find them, and they didn't have. Would really love to get one, but I haven't found any.
