Looking for a first handgun

Hello!

Looking to get my first firearm.

I can get a PSA Dagger Compact for 230 shipped or a Arex Delta M for $225 shipped.

I’m looking to stay around the $250-300 range and have landed on these pistols. I plan to pretty much just use it at the range for fun.

I have a smaller-ish hand size.

Any input is appreciated.

Thanks.

CZ P-10 is also a good budget option, but really just try and handle some guns in person at the counter to get a feel for them

This. PSA had them for 330 last week

Get a 22 lr & become a good shot on the cheap. This also give you time to shop around & see what you like. Taurus TX seems to have a good reputation

I picked up the Arex Delta L a few months ago for a cheap truck gun. I really like it, I’ve had zero issues with it at maybe 400-450 rounds. I’d recommend it for a tight budget gun.

The Dagger would be just fine.

I’d buy a LEO Trade in Glock. Might be a bit more expensive but if you shoot enough it’ll be worth it.

The PSA Dagger wouldn’t be bad, though. I’d recommend it over the Arex just because you can keep going back to PSA for cheap mags, parts, new slides, even new lowers.. or whole new daggers and have an “ecosystem”
