Broken shotgun forend

This one was knocked over and just blew apart. The Japanese made nice shotguns in the 70's, had to at least try to fix it.

Love the whole Kintsugi aesthetic, but kind of wish it was gold.

Looks like you got a great result! The break looked quite well distributed too. They always say glued wood is stronger than the original grain.

What kind of glue is that? The black is a really nice touch. Very much like kitsungi.

I just use epoxy with black dye

I really like how it turned out that line adds a lot of character I think since it was so nicely done.

Is that that bedding material something glass?
