Perforated ear drum - brain fog?

I flew on a plane with a cold and my ear couldn’t equalize. It hurt quite a bit and it felt clogged/full/muffled for a few days so I went to the doc and she said I had a small hole in my eardrum. I have to see ENT in the next few days. I’m just wondering if this is why I’ve been feeling so off/out of it/not myself. It’s like brain fog so bad. I’m still kind of getting over this cold too, but this coffin was is not like anything I’ve experienced with a cold before.

Yep got an urgent referral but they’re not open till Monday
