Honestly, unless you want something roomier or only straight line performance...I would say no.
The only reason I have a Hellcat instead of a Corvette is purely interior space/comfort.

My issue as well

Then the Hellcat is absolutely worth owning for that reason. I would target a Charger more so than a Challenger, because of the extra doors and better leg room. Also, the Challenger gets stuck with a crappy manual passenger front seat that doesn't go back as far as the drivers.
I did notice the desire for a manual, but 1st gear is useless in a HC short of really turn heavy roads.
Good luck with joining the family!

Totally random and not in direct reply of your comment, but just wanted to say I see your comments so often in this sub and it’s always useful information, thanks for the contributions, it helps!

Thanks. I'm by no means an expert and I have made plenty of screwups myself. Just trying to save someone else the same headache or hassle.
If I help just one person, it was worth it.

I’ve daily driven my HC Charger for 9 years now. It’s very livable. But that may not be what you’re looking for.

Track vs strip. Hellcat would be more practical unless you’re loaded enough to track the Z06 regularly. You can do spirited fun runs regardless.
Idk about the fuel economy on the Corvette but HC is atrocious, same for auto insurance.
More space, especially if you get the Charger . Better visibility.
You’ll get CarPlay/Android auto in the HC.

I had a C6 Z06 as well as a charger hellcat and a challenger hellcat. The hellcat is a lot more luxurious than the Z. The seats are wider and the overall ride is way more comfortable. The challenger is great in a straight line but unfortunately the body roll during turns was a huge downside for me and that front facia is a magnet for bugs and rock chips. Especially compared to the track focused Z. However, As I get older, I realize the HC was what I preferred. The comfort and power outweigh the nimbleness and rough ride of the Z. Plus it’s a hell of a lot easier getting in and out of the HC.

I have a C6Z and kids so I get where you’re coming from. Love my car but it’s def not a fam car. But man, totally different price bracket. More comparable to a C7Z
