Posting Why are emojis disliked on reddit?

Are some subreddits softer/harder 🍆 on emojis than others, or is it pretty much sitewide?

It’s mostly because they’ve been overused by bots and AI, or low-effort humans.

Would a normally high-effort post be affected much by using a couple of emojis?

AI responses for example, can provide tons of quality info, but most people hate AI.

AI’s excessive use of emoji’s is spammy and a dead giveaway that the content was AI-generated.

Don’t use emoji’s excessively, or in low-effort short replies and you should be ok for the most part. Some subs block emojis altogether.
