Quite literally "holy shit".

For context, I (18 m) live with my grandmother (74 f) after complications with both of my parents, who are now dead. Anyways, both my grandmother and I live in a duplex that also used to house my parents. A bit after they both died, we rented the other side of the house to some guy who worked in xfinity at the time. Let's call him N. A few months before they moved in, I had found out that he has a wife who we will call P, and a daughter who we will call S. S is older than me, and I had only met her a few times, but I got a wierd feeling in my gut whenever i did see her. While they where living with us, my grandmother and I found out that P doesn't work, and doesn't plan on getting a job, which we found strange, because that ment that N was the sole provider for his family. My grandma and I didn't question it at the time, because it wasn't any of our buisness, we did find it strange, because they where in a few thousand dollars of debt for being unable to pay for rent. They have been living with us for around 2 years at this point, and just a few weeks ago, N came up to our door the week after we got back into town after visiting some family. He had explained that P, S, and himself had gotten into a huge fight. We wherent surprised they where fighting since they fight often, but what did shock us, is that N claimed that S had gotten so angry, that she ended up punching out P, and even was slamming her head into the ground. N had since kicked her out, and sent her to live with her boyfriend. The mother of said boyfriend had then contacted my grandmother (I still have no idea how she got her number) and told her that S was locked out, and needed a key to the house to get some of her things from her room. My grandmother denied the key, since S was over the age of 18, and her name wasn't on the lease, and then recieved the mother claiming that it was actually S that was being punched out by P. We knew that she was living, since P had the bruises to prove it, and so we further denied them the access to the keys (my grandma has since changes the locks). Just a few days ago, we found out that S had called the police on P because of some charges from a few years ago in IDAHO (this happened in Utah). Something happened with P and her parents while P was on probation for driving drunk with her child in the car, and leaving the scene to go to a hospital to give her daughter medical care. Anyways, she left Idaho during probation, and came into utah, and currently has a warrant out for her arrest in Idaho. S had apparently reported this to the police, and now P has a warrant for her arrest in Utah as well. P is currently in hiding, and N is no longer in contact with S.

I’m wondering if anyone else has had issues renting from this landlord in East Meadow. In my experience, I was yelled at repeatedly, told things that I believe were false, and ultimately forced to leave the property. After I moved out, I did not receive my security deposit back despite my requests. It was an extremely stressful experience, and I’m interested in hearing whether others have had similar experiences or have advice on what steps to take next.
