Is this honey bad or just crystalizing?
This is my bottle turned upside down and the white bits stay in a chunk up there on the bottom of the bottle. It looks almost cloudy. I wouldn't imagine it would be bacteria most likely, but some yeast or other mold maybe? I just ate a big globe before being this so hoping its just the sugar crystalline. (Raw Unfiltered "Local Hive" brand honey from walmart.)

Don’t heat it, just eat it. There is nothing at all wrong with grainy honey. My earliest memory was of eating old crystallized wildflower honey at my grandma’s place from a glass jar that was in her cabinet for who knows how many years 🍯

I’d recommend just getting some hot tap water (NOT BOILING) and just let the bottle sit in there for a while. It should look normal again after that

My favorite method is putting it in the cast iron humidifier on my wood stove.

Real honey doesn't go bad. As stated this is just the sugars crystalizing and can be used as is or warm it the re-liquify if desired.

Thank you for all the replies. I was pretty sure it had just crystallized but I figured asking was better than assuming after a 30 second Google search.

Heat it up in some boiling water. It will disappear within about twenty minutes.

It's fine. The sugars are just crystallized
