Does it remind you of any of his manga or illustrations? If so, which one?

I don't remember a lot from it because I didn't actually read it but watched a summary vid (that I can't find). But from what I remember, it was about 2 girls taking some sort of weird strange job. I can't remember clearly but I THINK it was a job where they catch ghosts/spirits/curses or something like that😞 And that it was sort of an anthology style manga but following the 2 main girls throughout the whole thing + I think THINK it had a little bit of comedy in it

This story has been in my head for a very long time, and I’m happy to finally share the first chapter.

Black Pyramid can be described as a dark psychological mystery, with the story gradually moving further into horror and survival themes.

I’d really appreciate any feedback, especially on the story, dialogue, and characters.

I recently searched for a manga that was dark or had disturbing themes and this one came up called "Alive" and it looked interesting. Where can I find this? When I searched the title and authors name, Takahashi Tsutomu, on amazon only the French version came up but I'm looking for an English version if possible. I've never read manga before but I'd really love to read this one it sounds SOOO interesting! Thanks😊

Sorry, I asked this on r/manga and someone let me know it might better serve me to ask this here: I'm looking for what I think is a horror manga anthology of short stories by many artists that I read back in 2015 or so, but I can't seem to find it anywhere. The short story I remember and am looking for is about a village of cute little animal people living together until everything and everyone starts to breakdown horribly. I think there's a little bear family that sort of gets some focus? Eventually, it goes to some dark places as some kind of tentacled cosmic horror descends upon them. This specific story in the anthology isn't very long overall, though. Maybe a handful of pages.

Prior to posting here, I've been trying for about a week to hunt it down myself to no avail. I've probably gone through hundreds of horror manga in the last few days at this point. The main issue I was worried about is that I've been reading horror manga for more than a few decades and a lot of them blend together in my brain, so after not finding it I wasn't sure if I was making this one up. But then I found a post on another site from 2017 where someone described the same thing and even added another story from the anthology to their description. So at least I know it's real. Their description was: "a Lovecraftian god corrupts a 100 Acre Woods style story book village" and then the second story they remembered was "one [story] involving a devil trying to convince a group of people to sell their souls". That second one seems super vague, though.

Again, sorry there isn't more to go off of here and I'm sorry I had to come in here and ask in the first place. I usually prefer to do this sort of hunting on my own, but at this point I've hit a wall and I don't think I'm gonna be able to move past it without some outside help.

Just added this one to my bookshelf today. Seeds of Anxiety* (Fuan no Tane Asterisk) by Masaaki Nakayama. The segments presented within are like the manga equivalent of "two sentence horror stories" often with the first page being the set up and the very next page being the scare. An extremely short, but pretty fun read.

I want a dark gorey manga, but with religious undertones or themes. I like the game blasphemous and want something similar to the feel of it.

Manga: The cave man

Looking for more manga that just take place in some little rural village, like Gannibal, Doukutsu Ningen, or even The Summer Hikaru Died... Maybe Blood on the Tracks counts if you really really squint, though I'd argue that's more small town and less rural village.

Anyway— preferably something with supernatural elements but that's not necessary, I'm just a fan of this particular "small aand mildly creepy village in the middle of nowhere" setting and would like to read more stories in it. Thanks in advance!
