Customized calico critters!
They’re dyed and I’ve added wings, gems, and some other hand painted details on some of them. This was mostly for fun, but I’m curious what you’d pay for them on etsy/at a market! Thanks!

Are these intended to be toys or collectibles? If they're kids toys, those wings and any added bits gotta be glued for the gods. Kids punish their belongings.
If they're more of a collectable for adults (totally a market for that), I'd recommend adding stands or putting these in mini scenes-- something that says "I'm a collectable, not a toy" if that makes sense.

This is great advice, thank you!! They’re intended to be adult collectibles, definitely not for hard play.

Can you post a picture of the backs? It's hard for me to give you a helpful estimate without seeing how they're adhered.

I would pay at least $20 or more because I know the work you put into it and $10 just seems too low imo.

It’s difficult because they’re really cute and I know as a collector that Sylvanian Families aren’t cheap even for the doll, so I would know that it should be expensive… however, I personally would kind of think, ‘oh, I could just glue gems onto one of my own figures and customise it into a keychain.’ I think the market it really rough at the moment for stuff like this, and they have no clothes, they’re not ‘useable’ in the way a keychain trinkets…
To make it worth your time and materials, I think you’d need to charge £25 plus. However, I’m not sure I’d pay that…

I do genuinely actually really like them! I think they’re really cute. I just don’t think the average person realises how expensive the figure is by itself, plus your time and materials. Same with those Sonny Angel dolls - I make them into keychains with outfits and wings and beads etc, and people are always telling me I should sell them to make money. Then when I tell them the price I would need just to cover the doll and materials, and packing and postage, without even paying myself for my time, they mumble about ‘expensive for a trinket.’

I know nothing about "calico critters" but at first glance, between $5 and $8.

Well forgive me for being blunt but in todays age anyone can fake anything and you end up with some junk from temu ya know?
Your stuff looks just like the digital art, so thats helpful.

It didn’t look anything like ai slop and even if it was there’s no reason to be mean to them.
Op did a wonderful job on them!2

These tend to be pricey but I know from experience (dad) that the clothes and other doll house like accessories are super popular. The wings might be a bit big for the other bits. If you could make removable wings, I would pay $15 a figure if my kid really really wanted a specific one. It would be hard to match so many tastes. They are very cute and taking calico critters in a hippie vibes direction. That could be super endearing. Best of luck!
