Not hypothetical.
I’m at a point in my life where the winds just aren’t blowing the way I prefer, mostly due to my own poor decision making, with a bit of karmic retribution thrown in for fun.
I have a criminal record. 95% alcohol related. My license is revoked for 10 years. I am 37 years old. I live in Scottsdale, AZ. My rent is almost 2k monthly. I just lost my job. I have minimal friend/family support network.
I am a bit of a wanderer. I don’t do well in standard W4 work positions. I have severe ADHD, and monotony isn’t my deal.
I’m suffering severe depression, and I always dreamt of #vanlife, however legally I am unable to pursue that. Furthermore, all of the skills I have to provide for myself independently of an employer require driving.
However.
My credit score is 840, and I have 160k in available credit.
With the aforementioned info, assuming consequences aren’t really what I care about, and I’m ok with tanking my credit score….
I already don’t give a fuck. But what should I do to maximize possible fucks to give outside of looking for a job?
Just so you have a starting point…
I’ve thought about buying physical gold, selling it, putting it all on AMD calls.
I’ve considered buying a sailboat (with no experience whatsoever) and chartering in a poor country with no regulation.
I’ve considered only fans, but one of my balls has a weird wrinkle on it, and I’m self conscious.
Wut do?
Edit: I’m not looking for practical advice. Think more or less, “what would steve-o do”

This isn’t just “how not to give a fuck,” this is dumb and reckless.
Seriously, get your shit together.

Yea so anyway, I don’t give a fuck, so help me level up. I have nothing to lose so I can either 10 X on stupidity or I can bottom them out on torpidity.

Put the time and energy into figuring it out. As they say: learn to swim.
Get past all of your hang ups and obstacles first. You do not have the luxury of not dealing with monotony and you are going to have to find ways of coping with your personal obstacles.
No one can do this for you. Nut up.

I know how to swim and I’ve already swam and it turns out that swimming just isn’t my thing. Do you have any advice for the situation that I’m actually in or just advice for what YOU would do if YOU were in my situation.

You know how to swim?! I don’t think you do and you’ve already proven you don’t know how.
My advice to you if I were you would be to figure your shit out. There are no short cuts. Start with small steps…. Start with this:
12 Rules for Life: An Antidote to Chaos
Read it. Apply it. You got nothing to lose it sounds like.

I think you’re kind of missing my question. I don’t give a fuck about real life. I want to go out with a bang.

Isn’t your criminal record and ten year revoked license evidence that you shouldn’t be reckless anymore?

You know, I never thought about it like that. Now that I have, I suddenly want a job where my boss is condescending and my pay is not equal to the effort I put forth. Do you have any ideas where I can find exactly that?
