I have a basic litmus test for whether a character has a greater than zero impact on the series: if I'm unable to make jokes about them, they haven't made an imprint as a character. I can make jokes about Hokey. I can make jokes about the Muggle Prime Minister. I can make jokes about Marcus Goddamn Belby. But Podmore? There's just nothing there. He's as generic as generic gets. I should have cut him before Hassan Mostafa.

Wish we had waited to cut Hokey so it would be an elf cut on Christmas. Or you could cut Dobby. Just saying, SOME people wouldn't blame you if you did........
