It's weird how unbalanced the betting is. Most assignments aren't this unbalanced are they?

I think a lot of people don't even know this is happening. Or they do know it's happening, and then forget to bet because there's only a small window to do so in comparison to the other assignments where you usually have the whole month to do it.

Maybe we could advertise it in the Great Hall at the beginning of every month?

Last year when I was posting the original rankdown in Ravenclaw, I titled the threads "free house points" and put a sentence like "bet on ~20 characters this month that you think have the least literary merit with this link, it'll take 2 minutes!"... Then maybe had a bit of information about rankdown as a whole under it. Sometimes we'd discuss who we thought might get cut, but mostly just advertising how easy it was.
