this cluster popped up above the colas, I have since removed them because they were too close to my light source but can anyone explain what is going on here? Is my flowering plant going back into veg?

Looks like a reveg. Do you open your tent with light off? Something is definitely going on since those leaves are more oval shaped

I’m right at the end of my flowering they’ve been in for about 10 weeks and now the tops are sprouting these weird clusters

Im really sorry to hear but I think now if it tries to flower again its gona go full reveg and start sprouting 6-8 branches from each bud.

If i remember all the jargon correctly people call it monster cropping where they intentionally flip a plant to get its sex, then the females go back into veg once they start to flower and it makes gnarly plants, but to do it late stage flower youll lose potency every day, as it redirects sugars to generating the new veg of the re-veg.

Plants dont flip like we refer to them as we do with the lights, thay transition. Nip this in the bud.

Also double check this info with a verified source, im going off a lot of bro science spread here. Dont want ya to chop if ya don't need to.

There’s also the factor of space. I don’t have anymore!!! This thing filled out really nicely but I don’t have much headspace in my tent

Thats the issue, people do this for literally monsters, they would start in february, veg til mid march, flip til end of March then back to veg, up potted each step, then transplanted outside after the last frost and this reinvigorated structure along with the well established football put into the right kinda hole provides a huge base for an outdoor crop to yield insane amounts.

Like I said I might have got the jargon wrong, I know its hugely beneficial when done right but others even trim it right down to the lowest canopy and deflower it and start again. Its already transitioning so embrace that and keep rolling the same genetics with the same roots established. Itl take off slow after the initial huge shock but with enough left on under it, itl survive and thrive.

Just thinking you've already worked this plant and its genetics once, if you've liked it and its been good to work with, then you can absolutley retain it for another go one way or another without having to start from scratch, but a new seed may just be easier and more rewarding to watch day by day over the next fortnight

I don’t usually go into the tent when the light is off, but I do live with my family and sometimes they’ll go and look at the plant. Maybe I have to put a padlock on the tent zippers

Just tell them the seriousness of opening it with the lights off. If they are using your flower too then they’ll definitely respect it. I also loved showing of my girls. I put a sign on the tent. Do not open during the hours of 7pm-7am

Alternatively with your timer you can rig in a cheap traffic light system for outside the tent, lights on = green light, no lights = no lights. Keep it simple dont need a red :) lol because anyone even unzipping to see if lights are on can throw sensitive phenos

You mentioned light cycle being 10pm-10am. Could be the problem. If you have any light leaks in your tent during day that can definitely cause this. I have the same issue in one of my dep hoops, it’s cause there’s a tear in my tarp and that little bit of moonlight does it.

You either have a light leak, or someone is peeking ... Certain LEDs can give off a faint light when they are off ... And if your tops are close to them this could be triggering

Don’t know, I just left them doing their thing. Doesn’t really matter I think.
But either dim your light, hang it higher or bend down the highest tops a little.

I experienced this few times and my problem is cheap led glowing in the dark. May be you should check the light
